Who publishes this site
Missed-Call Guides is published by Nova Impact Solutions, a veteran-owned software and AI automation company in Florence, Kentucky. We sell NOVA, a 24/7 AI receptionist for home service businesses. That is a commercial interest and we state it on every guide.
How we source numbers
- Government data comes straight from the source, with the dataset and the date we pulled it. County business counts come from the US Census Bureau's County Business Patterns and cover establishments with paid employees only.
- Laws and rules link to the statute or agency document where we could read it. Where we only found a law-firm or tracker summary, we say so.
- Missed-call studies are mostly published by companies that sell phone or call-tracking tools. We show them as a range, name who reported them, and note that we did not check the original studies.
- We do not publish testimonials, case studies or revenue promises that we cannot back with a named, consenting customer and a date.
Editorial standards
- Numbers. We use a figure only if we can name its source and the date we pulled it. If sources disagree, we show the range.
- Vendors. Studies published by companies that sell phone tools are labeled as vendor-reported. We list competing tools and their listed prices in the same table as our own, with a note that prices change.
- Our product. NOVA appears in one short block at the end of each guide and in the header link. It is never used as an example of results.
- Customers. No testimonials or case studies unless a named customer has agreed in writing and the date is shown.
- Corrections. We fix errors and show the date a guide was last updated.

It is not legal advice. Check anything you rely on with a Kentucky attorney, especially call recording, AI disclosure and text messaging.
